Hollywild Animal Park is a 501 (c) (3) Not-for-profit Organization.

Except where noted below (*), regular admission applies: $10 adults, $ 8 children (2-12) , under 24 months admitted free.

With admission, visitors to the park enjoy walking park visits with a variety of animals, a safari bus ride where they can feed large wild animals, and a “creature feature” presentation in the amphitheater.

Visitors can also enjoy the picnic shelters on-site or purchase concessions at the park.

The Zoovenir shop offers a variety of items that fit any budget so that visitors can take home a special reminder of their fun at the park. Bags of animal food and baby bottles are also available for purchase.

ONGOING PROGRAMS:
Groups @ Hollywild – school and community groups can participate in our group rate discounts. On weekdays the group rate is $6 for pre-registered groups of 15 or more. On weekends, groups receive a 15% discount (adults $8.50, children $6.80). For the Holiday Lights Safari, groups rates for 15 or more include free admission for the driver. For group rates, it is necessary to make one payment for the whole group. (Please call the park office at (864)472-2038 for special needs or group reservations)

Scouting @ Hollywild – March through October, scouts can participate in a variety of activities, including camping, allowing them to earn many different badges! Costs vary depending upon the program selected due to the materials involved. A Hollywild patch is also available.

Hollywild’s scouting program has been growing in the last two years, headed by Linda M. Poole, a former scout leader. Both Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts have been coming to Hollywild to earn a variety of badges. Hollywild offers its own patch as well. From on-site camping opportunities, badge requirements, and an on-site educational picnic area used for scout meetings, Hollywild has made a commitment to serving those who are learning to serve others. Poole works to organize scout programming around each group’s needs, and often books weekend events months in advance. Service projects for all levels including Eagle Scout candidates are available.

Hollywild offers customizable programs that can assist leaders in helping their scouts obtain over 36 badges. Participants are able to earn at least one badge during a given visit in a child friendly, exciting, learning environment. This time is also designed to promote respect for the animals as well as each other.

A recent addition to the programs offered is in the area of equine study. Scouts are often eager to earn their horse badge. The ponies at the park, who offer rides at birthday parties, become models for the study of anatomy and physiology. Riding the ponies as part of the badge requirements is part of the program, with an additional fee of $5 per person.

• Corporate picnics and events can be held in a variety of locations at the park. The office staff can work out a plan that meets any company’s need from casual to elegant.
