Hollywild Animal Park announces a new summer and fall program highlighting the Park’s outreach programs designed for Girl Scouts, Boys Scouts and Cub Scouts. .

Scout Appreciation Days offer scouts an opportunity to work toward different scouting achievements while visiting Hollywild at a discounted rate.

Individual scouts in uniform or groups with leaders with Scout ID are admitted for the weekend group rate, a 15% admission discount from the $8 child’s rate and $10 adult admission rate.

Upon entering the park, scouts will move to the Pavilion where they will make a book in which they will record their experiences through the day. At various areas around the park they will be able to have their book stamped to verify the activity they’ve completed.

For an additional $1 scouts can take a guided tour of the park where additional activities help them reach achievement goals.

$5 Pony Rides offer activities leading toward equine achievements.

Guided Scout Tours will be held at 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM, and 3:00 PM.

Scout Appreciation Dates are Saturday, July 17, and August 21, 2010.

Hollywild’s summer hours for June and July are Monday – Friday: 9AM – 4PM; Saturday and Sunday: 10 AM – 5 PM. Summer day camps are held in July
